News, Updates, & Warnings:
Closed during all portions of deer firearms hunting and spring turkey season.

Directions:
There are 5 different trailhead lots you can park in.  Directions to every lot is included in our Missouri Trailblazing book.
Trailhead Lot 15:  From Springfield, take I-44 west to Hwy 97.  Turn north and follow to Forest Road 2110 LC.  Turn east and drive to Forest Road 1082 LC.  Turn north and continue to the trailhead parking on the left.  You will cross a railroad track.

Miles of Trails:
11 mile separated double loop.
Plus additional mileage on area gravel roads.

Equestrian Camping:
Not allowed.

Trail Notes:
The trail is mostly flat with a few gently rolling hills, but it gets a little steeper as it nears the river.  A few creeks and drainages to cross, traffic on the gravel roads, but no other apparent hazards.  Most of the trail is made of fire roads and double track that go through prairie, with spots of timber here and there.
