Open during hunting seasons so please use caution.

Directions:
From Joplin, take Hwy 71 Alternate south to Hwy K.  Turn east on Hwy K and follow to the first trailhead parking lot.  There are two more trailheads further down this road.

17 mile network

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, you can ride in and camp at one of the designated camping areas, although you cannot camp at your trailer in those camping areas.  They are ride in only.

Trail Notes:
Riding is allowed on designated equestrian trails or on two track gravel roads.  This trail system has some steep hills, downfall, and creeks to negotiate.  Part of the trail is overgrown and lost.  None of the trails are marked, so take a map and compass so you can find your way around.

Hikers, backpackers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.
