News, Updates, & Warnings:
Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Directions:
From Farmington, take Hwy 67 south to Hwy E.  Turn west on Hwy E and follow to County Road 124.  Turn left on C. R. 124 and drive to C. R. 131, which is a 4 way intersection.  Turn left, drive to the trailhead parking lot, bearing left at the Y.

Miles of Trails:
5 mile loop.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, primitive disbursed camping along the trail.

Trail Notes:
This trail connects to the Marble Creek Section of the Ozark Trail, and is 9 miles one way from the loop to the Marble Creek trailhead.  The trail is steep and rocky is a few sections, especially the stretch that passes and climbs above the shut-ins.  The view at the overlook is great but a long fall.  The shut-ins are located on the south loop.  Other hazards to watch out for include ticks, yellow jackets, and venomous snakes.
