Trail Notes:

Lakeside Trail around Spanish Lake is not open to equestrian use. Spanish Trace Trail around Sunfish Lake is open to equestrian use. It’s not a long trail, but is pretty and scenic. It goes through forest, fields, and even a small prairie. It’s slightly hilly, but nothing strenuous. The trail corridor is easy to follow with a few downed trees to negotiate, but nothing too hazardous. This urban trail has lots of houses around it as well as a lot of people in the park.
