Trails are closed during firearms deer season.

Directions:
From Sedalia, take Hwy 65 south to Hwy 7 in Warsaw, turn north.  Drive to Hwy Z, turn west again and go to Berry Bend Ave.  Turn left.  Follow road to campground entrance on the left.  Day use trailhead is a bit further on Berry Bend Ave to the right.

37 miles of multiple loops.

Rates range from $8.00 to $18.00.

Trail Notes:
The west trail is 12 miles long and is much more challenging with steep, rocky terrain.  The east trail is 25 miles long and is more level.  The upper trail is flagged blue, the shoreline trail is flagged orange, and the connecting trails between the two are flagged white.  The connecting trails allow you to vary the length of your ride.  This trail is becoming eroded, rocky, and confusing.  There are mile markers along the trail.  In the summer, these trails can get quite overgrown and tick infested.

  1. Berry Bend was a very disappointing ride. The flood had really erodeded the trails and the cut through paths were overgrown with brush and stickers. Tick nightmare.
